Never miss a show again!

Ever since CES 2011, the Android world has been awaiting patiently for Hulu Plus to be available on Android devices. Recently, we’ve seen Netflix and Crackle introduced into the Android market but not Hulu. For those who don’t know, Hulu is a streaming website of current TV shows such as CSI, Glee, How I Met Your Mother and many others. Well, it is here now. Sort of.

Unlike Netflix or Crackle, new TV episodes are usually available the day after they air therefore it becomes an automatic online DVR. Hulu Plus offers viewing HD, more movie selection, but most importantly it offers streaming on multiple devices. Just like Netflix, Hulu Plus is a subscription based service that will allow streaming to the PS3, Sony TVs, Xbox 360, iPhones, iPads and now select Android devices. If you’ve got one of these in hand, make sure you sign up for a free week ($7.99/month) and head over to the Android Market and download it.

Current devices include:

  • Nexus One
  • Nexus S
  • Motorola Droid II
  • Motorola Droid X
  • HTC Inspire 4G
  • Motorola Atrix
  • More to come
