Microsoft: “No New XBox Announcement at E3 This Year”

Now that the new iPad rumors should be at bay for another six months (yeah right), how about churning up the ongoing rumor mill about the new XBox?  Citing “people with knowledge of the matter” Bloomberg says that Microsoft will not release their next XBox gaming console until 2013, to maximize another year of sales with the current system.

David Dennis, a Microsoft spokesman responded to an email from Bloomberg stating:

“There will be no talk of new Xbox hardware at E3 or anytime soon… For us, 2012 is all about Xbox 360.”

Sounds pretty cut and dry to me… maybe.  Kinda.  Probably.  Hey, so what’s going to be on the next iPad?  Anytime soon?
