Who said PC mods had to be geeky? Tucked away from the flashy booths of the CES, NVidia and the man behind the mod decided to do a little experiment that made creative detailed use of laser-cut plastic, intricate railings and 15.5 liter beer keg.
The result? The Kegputer
Apparently, the design was made for speed hungry PC gamers who enjoy NFL Sundays (i.e. Me).
“Yeah, we were pretty crazy for doing this?” said Ben Lzicar – one of the two men behind the Kegputer’s design. He then confirmed my wishes. “The hardest part was trying to guess the holes just right so that we can get stuff to plug into this thing” said Lzicar as he served me a cup of Sierra Nevada.

“Did this beer company get you a full keg?” I asked.
“We ‘emptied’ the keg as we were building the computer” he said jokingly. “It was alot of trial and error while not trying to get too hammered. But really, there was some challenge into putting this build together.”
However, this Kegputer is more than just a Super Bowl party hit. Coupled with NVidia’s latest 500 series graphic cards in SLI, this kegputer can definitely serve more than just beer. It even contains Intel’s latest CPU with SandyBridge so that you can watch you 3D Blurays right off your desktop, with supporting 3D glasses of course.
