Here is a rumored picture taken by a Q/A tester for the Lego line of games that was uploaded to Twitter with the quote,”Nintendo fanboys alert: look what we have at work!”. Pictured was the WiiU controller with some small changes to it. With E3 being just a couple weeks away, this could very well be the final design, given this rumor is not a fake.
A picture says a thousand words and this one say real joysticks, a new start and select button position, and a new WiiU logo that now features a prominent Wii, with a smaller “U”. The finish seems to have a smooth gloss on it and there is a mystery square right below the D-pad that many are assuming is a button but could also be some sort of sensor, maybe the missing vitality sensor.
This picture is all we have to go by as the Twitter account has been deleted. Either way, this controller still looks like a handful, literally. We’ll see more at E3 when we report on Nintendo’s new console.
