ARCHOS 97 Tablet Extends Its Android Family Of Tablets

Archos has been around since 2006 building tablet as far back as the Windows XP days when they used to be fashionable in the workplace. Archos is not new to the Android game and has unveiled a variety of Honeycomb-based tablets. Today, they’re unveiling the ELEMENTS lineup comprised of 7, 8 and 9.7 inch tablet making use of Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). The ARCHOS 97 carbon can decode full 1080p HD video and can even send that video to an HDTV via HDMI-out. The ARCHOS 97 in particular uses a 9.7 inch multi-touch IPS screen in an aluminum body.

Additionally, the Archos 97 carbon also supports Flash 11 for the widest range of internet compatibility possible for a tablet.
