Beamdog’s Overhaul Games announced Thursday the much anticipated release date of the PC version of Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition on September 18th with the iOS and Mac versions of the game set to be released later in the month.
After a long wait, Beamdog is set to release the remake of their successful role playing video game Baldur’s Gate and its expansion Baldur’s Gate: Tales of the Sword Coast.
New sets of characters and a different kind of adventures will be introduced in Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition as its half-elf character Neera finally discovers powerful magical potential within her.
The game also features a new romantic adventure, four hours of extra game play, and gory battle mode on Baeloth’s Black Pits, which emulates the vicious combat taking place on the Roman Coliseum.
Overhaul Games has yet to announce the launch date of the Android tablet version of Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition, although developers are also planning to release the game’s version on that platform later this year.
