Earlier today, Samsung announced a new device called the Galaxy Grand. While this version might not make it to the US, we might get another variant (Galaxy S III Mini vs Galaxy Axiom). Why would Samsung bother with another 5″ device? It’s a more affordable device. It’s featured specs aren’t too shabby either:
- Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean)
- HSPA+21
- 5″ WVGA display at 480 x 800 (not HD)
- 1.2GHz dual-core processor
- 1GB of RAM
- microSD slot
- 2100mAh battery
- dual SIM slots
- 8MP rear shooter
- 2MP front shooter
So yeah, it might not have the best of the best specs, but they still pack a punch. The Galaxy Grand will be available in both dual SIM and single SIM options. As for price and date, that’s still yet to be set.
