Madfinger Games has made their mobile first-person shooter horror game Dead Trigger available for free on Android and Apple’s mobile platform iOS in an effort to offset the effect of incredibly high piracy rate.
Madfinger Games CEO Marek Rabas did not mince words in expressing his dismay on Google and Apple for their lack of initiative to protect mobile games from piracy.
Gamers, who bought Dead Trigger at its original price of $0.99, will receive compensation through in-game loot.
Nevertheless, Madfinger will still gain some money from Dead Trigger since the game’s income has always been made through in-app upgrades and purchases.
