Do you frequently sit on the couch gaming for 12 hours at a time? Maybe even at work long hours at the desk in front of the computer? Chris Staniforth wanted a career in the gaming industry. He also spent a lot of time gaming and on the computer. He died at only 20 years old because of deep vein thrombosis. Essentially it happens when a blood clot develops in the legs, and moves to other parts of the body. It is believed the disease was caused from long hours playing video games and on the computer. His father wants to raise awareness for the disease and to “take a break” when on long gaming or sitting sessions.
