Over a week ago, adventure game fans made a statement at Double Fine’s Kickstarter page. Its founder Tim Schafer was asking for 400k and was floored when he was presented with 2.2 million dollars of pledges. Now it seems like the trademark “The Cave” has made its way to the offices and is likely to be the new name of the public backed adventure game. Tim Schafer was responsible for leading the creative torch of the following classics like Day Of The Tentacle, Full Throttle and Grim Fandango.
And if you want a copy of “The Cave” or at least watch footage of its full development lifecycle, check out their Kickstarter page, pledge and enjoy the fun.
