Fostex has announced that there is an incompatibility when using the iPhone 4S and their stereo recording system AR-4i.
Some users are reporting their 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity is lost when using the AR-4i, even though the device works fine in terms of recording and fitting into the mount.
So if it’s important to be online to, you know, send a quick file to someone remotely while using the AR-4i, then you might want to hold up a little bit on picking up an iPhone 4S.
They know of the issue and said they’re working on fixing it.
