Do a Barrel Roll!
Google has toyed around with Easter Eggs before and now they’ve embedded the infamos “Do A Barrel Roll” quote from Starfox through its Jelly Bean screens. Android users can perform a barrel roll by simply speaking to their phone.
Google Now has been positioned as the stark rival to Apple’s Siri while also acting as an automated personal assistant. Google announced the Jelly Bean feature last week at the I/O conference. The barrel roll trick uses the feature’s voice prompt, however the new feature is mostly centered around intuitive updates such as real-time weather, traffic reports and sports scores.
Also, for kicks, “Do a barrel roll” n the Google search box itself on your browser when you get a chance.
