If you’re not a fan of giving your credit card info to Google, this will make you smile…maybe. Today, Google announced that they would be working with specific carriers to offer carrier billing for their Google Play Store. Now, when you try to download the premium app or the movie, you’ll be promoted to use either your credit card or charge it to your cell phone bill. You can do this with apps, books, music and movies. At least in the US, you’ve got 3 major carriers agreeing to this billing option. Where’s Verizon? They already have partnerships with BillToMobile and Payfone to offer carrier billing on certain websites, why not Google/Android?
