TBWA is an ad agency from Milan, Italy that got pretty creative when they were tasked to put together a campaign to not only celebrate the inauguration of First Floor Under, a pop-vanguard culture magazine, but create awareness for music piracy. The result? Six posters of various artists using the musicians’ own CDs. Take a guess on all six musicians in the comment boxes below.
The artists behind the CD-based mosaics/portraits were Italian artists Mirco Pagano and Moreno De Turco who worked tirelessly for 200 hours making use of over 6,500 CDs. To say this is impressive is an understatement.
