Photo sharing social network, Instagram, has updated their iOS and Android apps today. In this version 3.0, They’ve added a few new features that really improve the overall UI and experience of the app. First, there’s a photo map:
As long as you allow the app to tap into your phone’s location, you’ll be able to visually see where you took the photo; leaving a cool trail of fun behind you.

Also, they’ve allowed for longer captions under the photo, so you don’t have to spare any details. So what kind of new filters should you expect? None. They’re working on some cooler looking filters, but they wanted to focus on the experience of Instagram as a whole first.
