M-Audio / Avid Announces New Flat Top Fast Track Audio Interfaces

Avid / M-Audio have announced a pair of new interfaces in the Fast Track family. These new boxes features an all new look and controls to make adjusting levels a little bit easier.

The two interfaces are called the C400 and the C600. They both feature a new flat surface where a clear volume knob and gain knobs are visible. The C600 has four XLR / 1/4″ combo inputs and outputs where the C400 only has a pair. Both interfaces are 24 bit / 96K, hook up to a computer via USB and feature SPDIF I/O as well as Midi I/O. The C600 also has the added benefit of having transport controls next to the master volume knob.

C600

The C400 and the C600 both ship with Pro Tools SE, a basic version of the Pro Tools software. These are also fully compatible with full version of M-Powered Pro Tools as well as Pro Tools 9.
