Apogee Electronics have announced a new option card for the Symphony I/O that will add 8 microphone pre-amps to the audio system. It also adds 4 instrument inputs and 8 inserts for patching in external processing.
Other little tech specs include a high pass filter, 85 DB of gain and soft limit to prevent some accidental digital overloads. The card will sell for $2000 and is shipping now.
