If you’re lucky enough to either be in London or headed off to London for this year’s Olympic Games, there’s something you tech guys need to know: No WiFi hotspots are allowed. You know, those little square boxes that give off a private WiFi network and connect to a cellular data connection? Can’t use one. According to the Olympic organization, this is due to a safety precaution. I guess the organization wants to avoid the risk of someone broadcasting their own feed of the events. Although, this doesn’t stop people from standard wire cabled tethering.
