If you’ve got a Twitter account on your iOS device, you need to check out this update. As always, this FREE update will improve some of the user experience with the official Twitter app on your iPhone, iPod Touch and/or iPad. Go check out your App Store and view updates!

As you can see, this is from the iPad changelog but one of the more notable updates is the use of pic.twitter.com. We knew a while back that Twitter would attempt to create their own photo sharing service rather than have you use TwitPic. Also, the idea that the GPS location can show you Tweets and Trends nearby is kind of interesting especially for those attending a conference like CTIA.
