Play Super Smash Bros back in the 8-bit days

Dan Fornace, Brendan Becker and the shadowy Flashygoodness are nuts. Super Smash Land is a demake inspired by the Smash Bros video game series which sends our favorite characters back into the monochromatic land of the Gameboy. It’s a definite labor of love that has gotten Smash Bros fans to shake heads at the sheer work behind the graphics and sounds. Smash Bros has been somewhat a pastime for family and close friends during holidays. I’m a big time nerd of this series and still have these games sealed on my shelf. Now you can experience it on your PC. No trial version. Nothing. All for free. That’s how much these guys love you.

For years, I have loved the Smash Brothers series and its simple yet deep gameplay. As an artist, I have tried many times to pay homage to one of my favorite games. Now here you find my latest and greatest attempt, Super Smash Land. Super Smash Land is a free to play PC Game that is designed to look and feel like it is being played on the original Nintendo Gameboy. I have simplified the experience while keeping the characters and features you are used to along with my own creative decisions.

This latest version includes a classic arcade mode, four-player multiplayer, Endless Mode and even support for online leaderboards. Very cool and definite win in my book.
