It’s basically a Twitter Q&A that President Obama held after a campaign rally in Newton, Iowa earlier this year. “I’m the master tweeter,” said the President after typing the following tweet composed of exactly 140 characters. Although Twitter vets may suggest to him that a shorter tweet is easier for others to retweet (RT) and is therefore considered preferable. One member of his team celebrated the 140-character tweet as a “twoosh” to which the lady remarked as a “twitter swoosh”.
Technically, it is also the first time any President has ever tweeted on Twitter.
Tweets were sent through the White House’s official twitter account which answered questions regarding mostly topics on energy and the economy. It was done on a Macbook pro. Check the jump on the vid:
