As we mentioned in last week’s podcast, Valve launched an app for iOS and Android for Steam users. It was a closed beta for awhile but now it is open to everyone. When they were closed, they accepted around 70,000 invites so when you join up, you won’t be alone. Same as before, the app allows users to chat with one another, view stats, find game deals but still doesn’t allow you to actually play the games. You’ll still need OnLive to do that.
