Owners of the 3DS will have a new Super Mario Bros. game to pick up sometime in August, which was announced by Nintendo this week.
This iconic side-scroller game includes the originial characters, Mario and Luigi, as well as other favorite characters from the Super Mario Bros. franchise. Nintendo has also stated that this game was “specifically as a pick-up-and-play experience”, accommodating players of all kinds of skill levels.
Nintendo also announced the Kirby Anniversary Collection, celebrating the 20th anniversaryof the franchise which will be available on the Wii after the release of the New Super Mario Bros. 2. However a specific shipping date was not disclosed at this time.
