Remember this guy? It hasn’t even been a year yet and here we are with the iPad2 in stores. In retrospect, $599 for the original iPad seemed expensive. Without a camera and the moniker of being a larger iPod touch, the iPad was reported by analysts as Apple’s first trip. But at $300, it’s alot more inviting. Of course the $299.99 price point is for the 16GB version while the 32GB and 64GB models have been slashed at $399.99 and $499.99 respectively. At this price, it’s likely you’ll see some shortages. Prices of the 3G versions are still being determined. If you don’t need the camera and don’t play many games that would benefit from the speed of the iPad2, you probably should go for it. At $299.99, that’s not a bad price at all.
