The Wii U’s software launch has been something of an enigma – that is – until now. Based on this leaked photo of an antiquated DOS screen displayed by one of Blockbuster’s UK stores (Yes, Blockbuster), we get a reported glimpse of what likely could be the Wii U’s list of launch titles. Hardcore gamers and pundits may scoff at the list, which is understandable, but there are a couple of games worth noting. The sales rep (or whoever shot the photo) was able to come away with a list. It does appear legit considering the retailer and a list that looks credible. Here are some titles that interest us:
- Assassin’s Creed
- Darksiders II
- Ghost Recon Online
- Marvel Super Heroes
- Pikmin
- Splinter Cell 5
- Tekken
- New Super Mario Bros Wii
- Rayman Legends
- Dirt 3
And the rest that we feel will cater to the casual crowd:
- Formula 1 All Stars
- Just Dance 4
- Killer Freaks From Outer Space
- Metro: Last Night
- MOnsters Party
- Rabbids Party Land
- Raving Rabbids
- Shield Pose
- Sports Connection
